Status Europa is an online platform where Europeans join each other to report on Europe and all it embraces in a culture critical, philosophical and satirical way.
Even though the economical co-operation is one of the most important pillars on which the European Union is established, a strong and meaningful political vision in Europe is still missing. Also, not a lot of people are very concerned with Europe.
Status Europa aims to create an intercultural dynamic through profound articles in order to build a real Europe – a Europe that lives.
We encourage people to participate in this project and to do this in their own language and culture. Reports on Europe certainly do not have to be written in only the widespread languages.
Through an open dialogue we can build our current Tower of Babel. The diversity in language and culture will not be a restraining factor, but will serve as the bricks of a cosmopolitan Europe!

Status Europa is een online platform waar Europeanen samenkomen om op cultuurkritische, filosofische en satirische wijze te berichten over Europa, en alles wat daarin leeft.
Hoewel economische samenwerking een van de sterke pijlers is waarop de Europese Unie is gefundeerd, ontbreekt het toch aan een sterke en betekenisvolle politieke visie in Europa. Veel mensen liggen ook niet echt wakker van Europa.
Status Europa wil met doordringende artikels een interculturele dynamiek creëren, om zo te kunnen bouwen aan een echt Europa – een levend Europa.
Wij moedigen mensen aan om deel te nemen aan dit project, en wel vanuit hun eigen taal en cultuur. Over Europa moet immers niet enkel in de grote talen worden bericht.
Door middel van een open dialoog kunnen we aan een hedendaagse toren van Babel bouwen, waarbij de taal- en cultuurdiversiteit geen rem, maar wel als de bouwstenen dienen voor een kosmopolitisch Europa!

Status Europa est une plate-forme en ligne rassemblant des Européens désireux de parler de l'Europe de manière critique culturelle, philosophique et satirique.
L’Union Européenne se fonde historiquement et essentiellement sur une forte coopération économique. Elle souffre cependant d’un manque significatif de dimension politique. Cette carence est sans aucun doute une des raisons pour lesquelles les citoyens européens ne se sentent pas concernés par le projet européen.
Status Europa veut crée un dynamisme interculturel avec des articles pénétrants, afin de participer à la construction à terme d’une vraie Europe - une Europe vivante!
Nous encourageons chacun à participer à ce projet, dans sa propre langue! L'Europe ne saurait être traitée qu’au travers des langues dominantes.
Le dialogue ouvert peut permettre d’ériger une tour de Babel contemporaine, dans laquelle les diversités linguistiques et culturelles ne fonctionneraient pas comme un frein, mais au contraire comme autant de briques au service de la construction d'une Europe cosmopolite!
